The TSS-110 includes an emitter that takes the compressed video signal (ASI input), encapsulates it on RTP according to Pro-MPEG Forum COP 3, and puts it on an IP network through Ethernet links. vidIP TSS-110 also comes with a receiver on the other end of the network. This receiver, the other edge of the solution, is a hybrid between video over IP and standard compressed video (ASI output).
A single piece of equipment can also run multiple functions, for example, emitting and receiving simultaneously on both ends. In addition, thanks to equipment flexibility, several ASI inputs or outputs can be installed in each chassis.
vidIP TSS-110 combines the benefits of standard IP access lines (cost, availability...) with the benefits of core IP networks (high bitrate availability, long range) without sacrificing broadcast quality, thanks to vidIP GatherlinkTM technology.
It integrates a front panel that enables initial setup and day-to-day operations. TSS-110 also offers a friendly web-based graphical user interface and several TCP-based administration interfaces allowing remote management and deployment of large video networks. A "ready to use" configuration, compacted in 1 RU case.
vidIP TSS-110 is the perfect device for a quick and easy transmission process.
